About Holly Blaikie

Holly Blaikie, author of Between Heaven and the Sea (formerly 1620 Mayflower), and In The Company of Wild Things, holds a master's degree in biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Her interest in history as well as human and ecosystem dynamics heavily influences her writing. She lives on the West Coast of Canada with her family, three cats and a host of wild visitors.
